KTM has announced updates to its 1290 Super Adventure R motorcycle for 2023, including new technology, a fresh paint job, and Bridgestone AX41 tires. The motorcycle, which is priced at £17,299, will feature an uprated 7-inch color display that allows for turn-by-turn navigation and call answering, as well as the ability to save a list of favorite phone numbers.
It will retain its 1301cc V-twin engine, 23-liter fuel tank, and impressive 15,000km service interval, as well as manually adjustable WP suspension with 220mm of travel and lean-sensitive electronics enabled by a Bosch 6D lean angle sensor.
KTM has made a number of updates to its adventure range for 2023, including reviving the 790 parallel-twin model and updating the 1290 Super Adventure S.
The 1290 Super Adventure R is designed for speed-crazed adventurers, offering a powerful 158.2bhp engine and off-road capabilities. In addition to the new technology and paint job, the motorcycle also has a new white, orange, and blue color scheme with more white panels than before, as well as a glossy orange trellis frame.
The 1290 Super Adventure R is equipped with a 1301cc V-twin engine fed by a 23-liter fuel tank, which has a service interval of 15,000km.
It also has manually adjustable WP suspension with 220mm of travel, as well as lean-sensitive electronics enabled by a Bosch 6D lean angle sensor, which provides traction control, wheelie control, cornering ABS, and multiple riding modes for on- and off-road use.
