Harley-Davidson Expands Production to China with HD350 and HD500 Models

Harley-Davidson and Qianjiang Set to Launch Entry-Level Models in China

Harley-Davidson is reportedly set to release two new entry-level models, the HD350 and HD500, after Chinese manufacturer Qianjiang received government approval to begin producing the motorcycles. 

The HD350 is expected to be based on the QJ Motor SRK350 Nekkei sports bike and feature a 353 cc 2-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 36 horsepower.

The HD500 is expected to be based on the Benelli Leoncino, featuring a maximum power output of 42 horsepower and coming with the same suspension, brakes, and style as the Leoncino. 
Harley-Davidson Expands in China with Two New Entry-Level Models

Production for both models is reportedly beginning at Qianjiang's factory in China, but it is unclear when the motorcycles will be available for sale. It is also unknown if Harley-Davidson plans to release the models in markets outside of China.
