Undoubtedly, the quick spread of electric motorcycles has made it possible for many creative brains to reach their full potential. We humans just can't manage to keep electric motorcycles in stock form, as we have with conventional motorcycles. The custom electric motorbike sector is intriguing because it is so young and because the supposed limits of electrification appear to be being overcome with each new design.

This is the case with this unique electric motorcycle in the cafe-racer style, which is based on the Super Soco TC Max. It is the creation of a Belgian designer by the name of Benjamin Surain, who collaborated with his collaborator Guy Salens to create the E-Core, an electric power unit intended to take the place of a standard motorbike's combustion engine.

Yes, as you might have guessed, the two are very serious about switching to electric vehicles, and Benjamin's invention in particular might serve as a catalyst for the development of the custom electric motorcycle market.

The masterpiece of Benjamin's ON workshop, The Nuit, is finished entirely in black. Naturally, given that nuit is the French word for night. Based on the Super Soco TC Max, one of the market's more attractive electric motorcycles, Benjamin flips the script by defying all we have come to expect from electric motorcycles.

The Nuit forgoes all of its angular and pointed bodywork in favour of a vintage cafe racer's stark simplicity. For an electric motorcycle, it has a modern appearance. Additionally, the bike's general design blends with the blacked-out electric motor and drivetrain, giving it a distinctive look that is also uncannily familiar.

Nuit adds some modifications to the default Super Soco's battery pack, resulting in improved performance, which makes things even better. In comparison to the bike's highest speed of 62 miles per hour, it is said to produce 30 percent more torque, allowing for a top speed of 110 kilometres per hour, or 68 miles per hour.

The bike's structural improvements by ON have also made it lighter and more aesthetically beautiful. For instance, the bike now has leaner, sportier proportions thanks to the frame's 15 centimetre lengthening. Additionally, Nuit weighs 15 kilogrammes less than stock, or 85 kilogrammes when ready to ride, due to the removal of all of the bike's original body panels.
