Terms range from an initial service fee of $ 5,500 and a monthly payment of $ 550 to an initial service fee of $ 1,000 and a monthly payment of $ 1,000. Flexibility comes at a cost. Remember this is not a loan or a car lease. Autonomy has a car, you rent it. But the company promises it's a simple process. Within 10 minutes, pay the deposit, provide your driving license and choose a pick-up or drop-off location.  Membership is currently open via the company's website and smartphone app, but right now only in California.
