2024 Ford Mustang Prototype Caught in New Spy Photos

Next-Generation Ford Mustang This week, prototypes were tested at the company's development center to see what the first-generation S650 should be. Ford an iconic pony car. The current Mustang debuted in late 2014 as a 2015 model and was facelifted to a 2018 model. Specialized models (RIP, GT350, Brit) have appeared, and the GT500 now dominates the Mustang roost. The introduction of the high-powered supercharged Shelby is a good sign that the development of a particular Mustang chapter is coming to an end these days. The GT500 has been here for several model years, so that's a strong indicator that we're planning a revision. It was originally rumored to be model year 2023, but given the apparent completion status of this prototype, I think it will be at least another year away. The camouflage on this prototype is extensive, but we can see a long row of hoods, the 2A+2 Coupe lurking under all its vinyl and cloth. The big front cutout shows that the next-gen Mustang still needs to breathe enough air. This means that the internal combustion engine is most likely (at least partially) powered. While it hasn't been phased out of hybridization or an all-electric variation, we see this as a sign that gasoline will be the primary fuel for the volume-oriented Mustang, at least for the foreseeable future. Previous rumors propose further miniaturization of the Mustang engine lineup and a possible introduction of both all-wheel drive electrification models. A hybrid has been proposed using the 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine fitted to the base car and the EcoBoost high-performance model, and a hybrid based on a variation of the Coyote V8, and the current speed automatic transmission has been proposed Ford's 10-cylinder that was previously That 2021 Ford F-150 is the most performance that has been used in the Mustang since then.
