2022 BMW M8 Competition range debuts with large infotainment screen

The common BMW Roundel is still the choice of those who love it.  Inside, the center infotainment screen on the M8 competition model now measures 12.3 inches instead of the previous 10.25 inches. This means that it is now the same size as the digital instrument cluster.  2022 BMW M8 Racing Convertible  The updated lineup is available with optional M carbon bucket seats. They feature an illuminated M8 insignia on an exposed carbon fiber reinforced plastic section, a larger body cushion, and an integrated headrest. The chair is heated and electrically adjustable.  The interior of the carbon seats consists of full merino leather and Alcantara detailing. Available in a combination of black and midland beige, or black and crisp orange. By ordering these seats in Black Alcantara, BMW will also add Black Alcantara to the dash and upper door panels.  2022 BMW M8 Grand Racing Coupe  The powertrain of the competition model M8 will not change. They use a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 617 horsepower (460 kW) and 553 pound-feet (750 newton m) of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission powers the all-wheel drive system. With this setup, it can accelerate to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.0 seconds. Top speed is 190 mph (306 kph) with the optional M Driver package.  Production of the upgraded M8 Competition series for the United States will begin in March 2022. After a destination fee of $995, the coupe is $130,995. The Gran Coupe is $130,995. and convertible bonds are $140,495.
