Mitsubishi ASX: the new generation could debut in 2023

Mitsubishi plans to announce a new generation of the Mitsubishi ASX (also sold as RVR and Outlander Sport) in the course of 2023. A blind website recently had a chance to speak to a Japanese carmaker manager who revealed that the current ASX is no longer available for purchase and is no longer listed in Mitsubishi Czech Republic's price list and configurator. The reason is that the next generation of the SUV would be just around the corner. The new generation could be produced together with Renault Unfortunately, the details on the Mitsubishi ASX 2024 are currently very few, but the source says it could be one of two models that the Asian manufacturer has confirmed to develop in collaboration with Renault for the European market. The new generation ASX is therefore likely to share several characteristics with the Renault Captur . The current generation of the model was presented in 2010 and has received three restylings to date. Despite the car manufacturer's attempts to keep it in step with the market, age is now starting to weigh. From an aesthetic point of view, the new Mitsubishi ASX should incorporate some stylistic characteristics of the Outlander 2022 and the Eclipse Cross, adopting the latest version of the Japanese company's Dynamic Shield design language. At this point we just have to wait for the next few weeks to see if more information on the new model will emerge.
