KTM 1290 Super Duke GT: decisive character on long journeys [VIDEO]

Dynamism and technological functionality are the aspects that emerge, observing a video proposed by KTM on YouTube starring the new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT . A Sport Tourer with interesting solutions.  Model Aesthetically it is partly reminiscent of the powerful naked, despite having a distinctive style. It presents colors and graphics that characterize and emphasize important technological features, starting with an instrument panel TFT as seven inches that allows you to manage different settings with a new layout. There is also a new joystick located on the left block. Also introduced a new navigation system referred to as Turn-by-turn PLUS or TBT +. Developed by SYGIC®, this system can also interact offline, allowing you to plan itineraries and the NAVIGATION function uses maps in standard format, for example by selecting one of the preset destinations directly from the screen, then carrying out an advanced search or reporting points of interest. It also allows you to bypass a point of the route, being able to recalculate the route by finding another available road to get to the selected point, and the last ten destinations are automatically saved and made available for selection. Then adopted the new wheels with sporty spoke design, the same noted on the naked KTM 1290 Super Duke R and the weight of the unsprung masses is contained by one kilogram compared to the wheels previously present. These are associated with Continental ContiSportAttack 4 tires.    Technical aspects The Euro 5 compliant engine is a 1,301 cc V- twin . It indicates a power that touches 175 horsepower and a torque that reaches 141 Nm . The bike is equipped with semi-active WP APEX suspensions that act with a dedicated logic, given an adjustment of the preload of the single shock absorber based on the needs of an exemplary Sport Tourer. The algorithm allows the rider to control the suspension according to four references: Rider; Pilot and Passenger; Pilot and Baggage; Pilot, Passenger and Baggage. An anti-dive function is also included as standard. Also featured are ABS Cornering and Street riding modes ,  Sport and Rain , to which the optional Performance mode can be added. Tech Pach paid software is also proposed.
