Vmoto is presenting a study for scooter sharing use in urban areas at EICMA 2021.   Vmoto is increasingly targeting the delivery and sharing vehicle market. In addition to the already known vehicles such as the standard scooter VS1 for private transport, the transport scooter VS2 and the cargo tricycle VS3 presented at EICMA 2021, Vmoto is also presenting a scooter study at the Milan trade fair with the Vmoto Fleet Concept F01 . It is designed for sharing applications in urban areas.  90 km range and 45 km / h  On the drive side, Vmoto equips its Fleet Concept F01 with a 2,000 watt electric motor that accelerates the electric scooter to a maximum of 45 km / h. The manufacturer specifies the range at 90 kilometers. The battery should be fully charged within 6 hours.  The prototype, which will be at EICMA 2021, weighs 105 kilos and should therefore be easy to maneuver even with a full load. It is equipped with a 16-inch wheel at the front and a 14-inch wheel at the rear. With a seat height of 785 millimeters, even small drivers should be able to get their feet on the ground.  CBS (Combined Brake System) decelerates, which automatically distributes the braking force between the front and rear brakes, but does not prevent the front wheel from overbraking. However, this is by no means a unique selling point of the Vmoto Fleet Concept F01, but absolutely common in this class and still in some 125 cc light scooters and bikes. But only as a side note.   About the Vmoto Soco Group  The Vmoto Soco Group, with roots in China and Australia, sees itself as a world leader in the manufacture of electric two-wheelers. In this country, the corresponding models were previously known under the brand name Super Soco. In the future, the manufacturer wants to split its offer. A premium label is to be established under the brand name Vmoto, which will be assigned to electric two-wheelers specially developed for the demanding European and US markets.  Vmoto is not only capable of scooters. At EICMA 2021, the manufacturer also presented the Stash, a naked bike that can go up to 105 km / h.  CONCLUSION  It is useful for sharing models if they are as robust and easy to use as possible. Vmoto does not emphasize either of these in the presentation of the Vmoto Fleet Concept F01. However, we assume that the manufacturer has had enough experience in the electric scooter and cargo bike sector to focus on these conditions when developing a sharing scooter.
