Two-wheeler market, ANCMA: first negative sign in 2021 in October

Specifically: 16,478 mopeds with a decrease of -1.9% on 2020; 141,026 scooters and a jump of + 22.7% despite the difficulties of October; 110,541 motorcycles with an increase of 29.9%. Compared to the first ten months of 2019, the market grows by 14.8%. Turning to electric, in October 1,034 units were sold, ascertaining an increase of 13.8%, in contrast to the thermal scenario. The annual progress is also good, with 9,188 copies and an increase of 6.1%. The growth of the sector was 140.5% compared to the first ten months of 2019. In October, therefore, 17,274 models (-1.7%) were introduced on the market overall (mopeds + registered). The figure for mopeds was down with 1,487 sales and a decrease of 17.7% on the same month of 2020.
