Toyota Aygo X 2022: a sportier and more dynamic image

The Toyota Aygo X is the third generation of the Japanese compact. Now it has acquired the 'X' in the name, which however reads 'Cross', but above all it has entered the crossover segment, following a market increasingly attracted and conquered by these cars. It will arrive on the market in the first part of 2022, with a sportier and more dynamic design.  The crossover design The Japanese car takes up the lines of the Aygo X Prologue concept, shown in 2019, and has an increased ground clearance of 11 millimeters, compared to the previous generation. The design remains youthful, with a new, more tapered roofline, with the aim of increasing the dynamism of the car and giving it a sportier appearance.    At the front, high-tech headlights wrap around the hood to form a wing profile, while further down the large grille, fog lights and under-run develop around the double trapeze theme. The shape of the headlights recalls the 'X' of the new name, while the rear is noted for the black color, in the bi-tone contrast with the rest of the bodywork.  Colors The colors are one of the distinctive features of the new Toyota Aygo X, with four brand new colors for the bodywork: Cardamom green for a refined and sober look, the more 'bad' and bright Chili red , Ginger beige for the adventurous spirit and the more youthful and bright Juniper blue , with some red hues.  “The bi-tone of Aygo X immediately catches people's attention - they say from the Japanese house - Clearly it's not just a detail. It is an integral part of the design ”.  The dimensions   Built on the GA-B platform , in common with the new Yaris , the Toyota Aygo X also changes its size. With a length of 3,700mm, it is 235mm longer than its predecessor, with the wheelbase increasing by 90mm. The front overhang is 72 mm lower than the 'cousin', while the maximum size of the rims is increased to 18 ”. In addition, the overall width of the car body has increased by 125 mm compared to the current Aygo, with a larger trunk and now 231 liters.
