Porsche is said to be working on a longer, wider and taller SUV to be positioned above the current Cayenne . The final appearance of this mysterious model would be a mix between a luxurious sedan and a crossover, practically a Taycan Cross Turismo longer and higher from the ground, but equipped with seven seats. According to Automotive News , a dealership working with the German automaker says the new SUV will not have the typical Porsche style and should also have a flat rear design. The same dealer later stated that it will not look like the current Porsche Cayenne or Macan . It could be completely electric The official debut should take place in the second half of the decade . At launch, Porsche's mysterious SUV could be offered with a plug-in hybrid or all-electric powertrain , the latter certainly more plausible. This means that it may not be based on an existing platform, but on a completely new one that will be shared with other Volkswagen Group brands, such as Audi or Bentley. We already know that next year the new Porsche Macan Electric should debut , a zero-emission reinterpretation of the most compact SUV of the German company as we know today, with a design that could wink at that of the Taycan. Either way, the new three-row SUV would be developing using Audi's Project Artemis . According to reports, the latter has become a kind of hidden internal division that would allow new technologies for cars to be developed, designed and adopted more quickly than other manufacturers. The target markets for Porsche 's new seven-seater SUV could be North America and China . We just have to wait for the next few weeks to see if more information will emerge on the matter.
