Opel Mokka-e and Corsa-e now with more range

There is good news from Opel regarding two of its famous electric models. The German car manufacturer, which is part of the Stellantis group, has recently announced an increase in the autonomy of its Opel Mokka-e and Corsa-e . Continuous development has led to significant increases in the range of both models, not only in the official WLTP (World Harmonized Passenger Testing) cycle, but also in real driving. The range of Opel Mokka-e and Corsa-e increases The Opel Corsa-e, introduced in 2019, can now travel up to 359 km (with A + tires) according to the WLTP cycle. In short, it is an increase of 15 km. The range of the Mokka-e, on sale in 2020 and recently winner of the “Volante d'oro per 2021” award , has increased to 338 km . This, however, only with A + tires and always according to the WLTP cycle . This substantial increase in the autonomy of the Opel Mokka-e and Corsa-e was obtained by means of some procedures that have ended up optimizing some systems of these two cars. We refer to the propulsion system and the HVAC systems which in simple terms would be: heating, air conditioning and ventilation. Here's how Opel managed to improve things for its two cars This happened thanks to an improvement of the heat pump present in these two cars. Opel also said that the greatest effects of this extension of range will be noticed especially in winter . Two other elements also contributed to the achievement of this result for the Opel Mokka-e and Corsa-e: the new gearbox and the 16-inch A + tires for the Corsa-e and 17-inch for the Mokka-e. In short, this is one more good reason to buy these two cars on which Opel is banking a lot and which in any case are already giving good satisfaction to the German car manufacturer. Recall that Opel has decided to focus strongly on the electrification of its range. Within the Stellantis group, the German brand has been chosen as a pioneer for new technologies.
