Lotus Type 132: debut in spring 2022 [VIDEO TEASER]

The Lotus Type 132 is getting closer and closer to its launch. The British brand has released a new teaser video on this future model, which will be a 100% electric SUV , announcing the official presentation for next spring. A video showing some glimpses of the car, albeit in dim light, waiting for more details and images in the coming weeks.  Features The E-segment electric model will feature an aggressive bumper, carbon fiber front splitter and a distinctive active front grille . Reportedly, this feature was implemented for a dual purpose: for cooling and for improved front aerodynamics.  The new Type 132 will allow Lotus to catch up some ground in anticipation of the presentation of the Type 133 E-segment four-door coupe scheduled for 2023. The two models will be followed by the Type 134 in 2025 (a D-segment SUV). and the Type 135 in 2026 (a zero-emission sports car).  The new Premium platform All the new models of the British company , including the Type 132, are based on the Premium platform which supports vehicles of segment C to E and with wheelbases ranging from 2889 to 3100 mm. The next EVs is expected to use batteries with capacities between 92 and 120 kWh and support 800V technology for fast charging. Finally, the British carmaker also said that some of the vehicles based on this platform will be able to take less than 3 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100km / h .
