The first of the 24 models planned arrives at the dealership, all already sold. It will be the fastest road car in the world.

In 2017, at that year 's Geneva Motor Show , Hennessey Performance , who went from tuner to ultra-high-performance car maker, unveiled a car with some truly impressive technical specifications. We are talking about the Hennessey Venom F5 and a few days ago, in Texas, the first example was presented in the brand new Mojave Gold color. The Texas-based company took advantage of this year's Monterey Car Week to show the public a beautiful specimen covered in a special colorway called Mojave Gold . Only now have we discovered that this is the first car a customer ordered to leave the factory. We also know that it will soon be joined by another Venom F5 painted in Speed Devil Blue (the same color scheme used for the show car shown during last year's presentation). Only 24 units planned for production Production will be limited to just 24 units, all already sold at a price of 2.1 million dollars (1.8 million euros at current exchange rates). Going from a tuning company to a hypercar manufacturer has undoubtedly been an impressive feat for Hennessey and the Hennessey Venom F5 will certainly be able to match other high-performance cars on the market (read SSC Tuatara). The 6.6-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 1,843 hp and 1,617 Nm of torque allows the car to reach a top speed of 500 km / h , according to the company itself. According to a recent test, the car was able to reach a speed of 322 km / h using a version weakened to just 919 hp of its V8, practically half of the maximum power available. Performance: 0-100 km / h in just 2.6 seconds, 0-200 km / h in 4.7 seconds while 300 and 400 km / h in 8.4 and 15.5 seconds respectively. New Lausanne Silver colorway In conjunction with the presentation of the first model ready for delivery, the Texan house also presented the third color available: it is called Lausanne Silver , a chopped metallic silver color, equipped with a particular paint capable of amplifying the sun's rays. This is a configuration chosen by the third customer waiting for the hypercar, complete with the American flag imprinted on the strip that runs along the entire length of the car.
