Ford Ranger Raptor 2023 will be presented in February [VIDEO TEASER]

Under the hood we should find the twin-turbo V6 from the Explorer ST or the Bronco

It seems that the digital project proposed yesterday will become reality as Ford has revealed in the past few hours that the new Ford Range Raptor will officially debut in February 2022 . Towards the end of the live presentation of the latest generation Ranger , a short image containing a QR code appeared on the screen. Scanning this code gave access to a teaser video dedicated to the new Range Raptor shared on the Ford Australia website. Unfortunately, the clip does not show us in detail the high-performance version of the pickup, but allows us to hear the sound of the engine that we will find under the hood. The previous generation of the Range Raptor was equipped with a diesel engine equipped with a twin turbocharger, but judging by the soundtrack of this video teaser, it is clear that the US carmaker has chosen a gasoline powertrain this time. Ford Ranger Raptor 2023 teaser For now we do not know the engine that we will find under the hood Ford has yet to confirm which engine will be under the hood of the 2023 Ford Range Raptor . However, several reports claim that it will be the same 3-liter twin-turbo petrol V6 used on the Explorer ST, in which it manages to develop 406 hp of power and 563 Nm of maximum torque. Another option would be the Bronco's 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6, in which it delivers 335 hp and 563 Nm. Next to the powertrain we should find a 10-speed automatic transmission as the only available option. However, compared to the standard model, the top-of-the-range version will receive several other updates. For example, we expect wider fenders, a bespoke front end with a more aggressive grille and various suspension upgrades to enhance its off-road capabilities.
