Ferrari 812 Competizione A: the first specimen on the road was spotted [VIDEO]

The first appearance on the road of the Ferrari 812 Competizione A , after about six months from the official presentation, took place in the past few hours, albeit with a completely camouflaged body. The usual leaker Varryx has released a video on YouTube showing the new 812 Competizione A in action , the uncovered version of the latest evolution of the 812 Superfast. Thanks to the clip we can see that the engineers of the prancing horse have connected a series of sensors to the car most likely to monitor the sound coming out of the two large rear tailpipes. Ferrari 812 Competizione A first street example On an aesthetic level, there is not much to say as the 812 Competizione A in question looks identical to the one seen in the official press images released earlier this year by the Maranello marque. Ferrari engineers focused on optimizing aerodynamics so as to improve airflow to allow it to make faster corners. The Ferrari 812 Competizione A is considered by many to be an “endangered” car as there is a V12 engine under the hood that we will surely see for a little while longer due to the increasingly stringent emissions regulations. Ferrari 812 Competizione A first street example The naturally aspirated V12 manages to produce 830 hp of power On board this car, the glorious 6.5-liter V12 manages to develop 830 hp of power at 9250 rpm and 692 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 rpm. We are talking about 30 HP more, but 26 Nm less than the “normal” 812 Superfast which delivers 800 HP and 670 Nm. The full power is discharged to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h takes place in less than 3 seconds while the top speed is 340 km / h. Overall, Ferrari plans to produce just 599 examples of the Ferrari 812 Competizione A (and 999 of the coupé version). Unfortunately for the wealthiest, it seems that all the units planned for production have already all been sold.
