The affordable electric car achieves an excellent milestone.
Dacia has announced in the past few hours that it has collected about 40,000 orders in eight months for the new all-electric Dacia Spring . Since October, the first customers have gone to the Romanian brand’s dealerships to collect their vehicles that had been pre-ordered between March and June 2021.
The preorder phase launched in several European countries (France, Italy, Germany, Romania, Spain etc.) was a great success with over 16,000 bookings in three months. In addition, Spring continues to win new customers across Europe with an average of over 5,000 new orders per month since July.
Dacia Spring orders eight months
The Dacia Spring arrived on the market with the aim of proposing itself as a zero-emission city car with an SUV look and at a widely accessible price, proving to be in step with the times.
Its ease of use and recharging and range of up to 305 km (in the urban WLTP cycle) make it a relevant mobility tool for most European motorists who travel around 30 km per day.
Xavier Martinet , sales and marketing director at Dacia, said: “ With 40,000 orders in eight months, the spring started off with a great commercial start. By making electric mobility accessible to all, Spring attracts both customers who are already familiar with the Dacia brand and most new customers ”.
