BMW M4 GT4 2022: the new generation will be available soon [TEASER]

 The six-cylinder twin-turbo with Competition specification will be weakened to meet the regulation

BMW has confirmed in the past few hours that the BMW M4 GT4 2022 will be available to customers starting next year. The new racing car, based on the street M4 G82 , will be the direct successor to the M4 GT4 of the F82 generation that was presented in 2017.   The official teaser image shared by BMW M Design also shows the 2022 M4 GT4 will have a swan neck rear wing with a distinctly different design from that adopted on the previous car.  Furthermore, we can see wider wheel arches, four tailpipes, a large rear diffuser, extended side skirts and a revised front with aerodynamic splitter and carbon fiber fins.  BMW M4 GT4  Just like the road-going M4, the new BMW M4 GT4 will be equipped with a 3-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder. Instead of developing 510hp in the M4 Competition version, however, the GT4's engine will be weakened to comply with racing regulations.  The cockpit of the racing car will also be very different from that of the standard M4 as we will find a complete roll cage, a couple of racing seats and all the safety features necessary to meet the regulation. Unfortunately, BMW has not yet announced the pricing and availability of the BMW M4 GT4 2022 at the moment, so stay tuned!
