Zero SR/F sets a coast-to-coast electric motorcycle speed record.

Zero Motorcycles is quite a newcomer in the electric motorcycle industry. But the brand quickly got into the market and was a good trend on the Zero Motorcycles Facebook group, and someone wanted to experiment with something with the company's model, taking the SR-F from coast to coast. the other side, with a goal of 112.5 hours.

Scott Harkless owns the 2020 SR/F. He runs from Jacksonville Beach to Oceanside Beach north of San Diego. The total time it took to travel from the west coast to the east coast of the United States was 112.5 hours, or four and a half days. What's even more impressive is that the trip cost him about a penny per mile if in kilometres, and Thai money would be 0.461 baht per 1.61 kilometers.

On the go, the Harkless is equipped with a charging bin with a custom-built Dual J plug option, powered by a Z-Force 75-10 electric motor that produces 110 hp and 189.81 Nm of torque.

It was thought that Harkless could achieve this feat with AC charging, as Zero's forecast would bring the bike to 100 percent of its charge in about 4.5 hours. "The 12 kW AC charging is more than enough to keep going."

Harkles also said it was intent on trying next time to be the best. And will give myself time to recuperate after this long journey, hopefully the next trip will come soon.
