Triumph Bonneville: Gold Line Edition arrives

Triumph Bonneville: Gold Line Edition arrives

October 26, 2021 - Eight special versions with hand thread and dedicated liveries. They will only be available for one year, arriving as early as November.

The range Triumph Bonneville was  the subject of a profound renewal in 2021 , with the arrival of the Euro-5 that not only did not penalize the performance of the classic line of Hinckley House, but it was an opportunity to make all the models even more elegant and dynamic from a dynamic point of view. So, given the success of the Street Twin Gold Line Edition , which arrived in February 2021 in a limited series  and quickly sold out, here are eight models - practically the rest of the range -  characterized by the same fascinating finish.

Let's start with availability: the eight new Gold Line Edition models (T100, T120, Street Scrambler, Speedmaster, Bobber and Scrambler 1200 XE and XC) will be available in dealerships as early as November and will not be in limited series, in the sense that there is no provision for them. a specific number, but can only be ordered until the end of 2022 with a variable surcharge depending on the model.

All will have a particular livery, enriched by the detail of the hand-made golden thread, a process that has practically always been a heritage of Triumph and entrusted to a single craftsman, the last descendant of a real dynasty : the grandfather and the father have in fact done the same, very delicate task in Triumph. It is a particularly refined and delicate procedure, which therefore requires skills beyond the reach of normal workers.

Typically, the Gold Line Editions rely on a two-tone livery that must be carried out with particular care in the area where the two paints meet; in this area, in fact, the craftsman applies the thread (made with a particular paint, denser than the standard one, obtained from a specific mixture of powder pigment and lacquer) by hand, with a small soft tip brush with a single movement, without interruptions. The work is completed by protecting the result with a layer of transparent lacquer; the craftsman then concludes the work by "signing" the work with his initials in an inconspicuous place.
