Transport Decree: among the measures no access for the 125 on the motorway, replacement plate for the enduro

With regard to the text of conversion to the Legislative Decree 121 dismissed by the Chamber of the Chamber, but awaiting the approval of the Senate, positive aspects are underlined but also a note of dissatisfaction in a press release. The Government has raised the question of trust on the text, therefore internal changes are not possible, as reported. Measures A certain regret transpires when we talk about the access and circulation of some two-wheeled specimens on the ring roads and motorway sections. On the one hand, the legislative gap on electric motorcycles has been filled, however setting a high threshold of 11 kW , which, based on the above, does not benefit zero-emission vehicles over thermal ones; but the prohibition of access for scooters with engine units of less than 150 cc persists . A constraint present only in Italy. As highlighted on the occasion, a future alignment with the rest of Europe is hoped for, also with the collaboration of motorway concessionaires. On the other hand, the approval of the proposed amendments to the highway code which also allow theuse of motor vehicles for first emergency services , such as the transport of medical personnel, in addition to taxi transport services ; recognizing the functionality of two-wheeled specimens in social dynamics. Then the entry of mopeds into the world of specimens of historical , collectible and vintage interest was positive , appearing in the atypical category and being able to benefit from the concessions provided by the Highway Code . Also interesting is the possibility of mounting a replacement plate on enduro motorcycles during competitions, avoiding the risk of damaging or losing the official one. A long-awaited measure, given the importance of preserving the plate from the real risk of damage or loss during competitions with economic consequences for owners forced to re-register, as underlined.
