Honda prepare to move the CB H'ness family to the 500 class in a two-cylinder line?!

After creating a buzz and great response with the Honda CB350 H'ness (or GB350 in Japan) before. There have been reports of the possibility that Honda itself will develop a classic bike in the same way. but will expand the cc capacity to the 471cc inline 2 cylinder, which is the same engine that Honda's 500 family sells in the Big Wing.

This information is referenced by Honda's own tagline when it launched the new CB350 H'ness earlier this year, "Bigger Thump Is On The Way '' or something bigger is coming. This theory seems to have a very high possibility with the capture of the engine of the bike in its own class 500, in size 471 cc, 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, 8-valve, DOHC, water-cooled.

The fuel is supplied with the PGM-Fi Throttle Bodies injection system, size 34 mm, bore size x stroke is 67 mm x 66.8 mm, compression ratio 10.7:1, transmission with a 6-speed transmission, maximum power is 49.6 HP at 8,500 rpm, maximum torque 42.9 Nm at 7,000 rpm

It is expected that the exterior design of the new CB500 H'ness will be similar to the CB350 with a round headlamp design. single seat Dual spring rear shock absorbers round rear view mirror and other elements of the bike that will fully enhance the classic.

Honda's 500-class bikes are currently offered in sports fairing, sport naked, bobber and touring. (And there is news that it is about to launch a new look at the end of this year or early next year), which still lacks this classic unnaked line. And if this new CB500 is really launched, it is believed that it will be as popular as the CB350 because another highlight is in terms of price that can be easily managed. Let's wait to follow. If there is progress, we will hurry to update it as soon as possible.
