You would be wrong if you thought that any old kick scooter would be suitable for racing in the series. As mentioned earlier, these are not your typical electric scooters. In fact, the scooters can reach speeds of more than 100 kilometers per hour.

At these speeds, riding an electric kick scooter is certainly not easy. This is why it's no surprise that racers in this series wear motorcycle-like suits. In particular, the kick scooter to be used in this racing series is the eSkootr S1X, which is equipped with an air dynamic body and 6.5 inch alloy wheels, and produces 12 kW of maximum power. With a battery capacity of 1.33 kWh, it has an autonomy of just 8 to 10 minutes. At 35 kg, it is rather heavy.

We can expect the races in this series to be rather short, sprint-type events as opposed to long distance, multiple lap races as in other electric power sports. eSkootr racing circuits will cover a distance of around one km, and will have approximately 30 participants in grid-style races. There will be plenty of thrills and spills to experience in this new, exhilarating two-wheeled racing series.
