CF Moto has been hard at work developing new and exciting motorcycles for the markets it seeks

to expand into. The Chinese company has already made quite a name for itself in Europe, Asia,

Australia, and South America thanks to its partnerships with KTM and KISKA Design.

The SR range of sportbikes was unveiled to the world by CFMoto in 2020. A2-compliant entry from

CFMoto, the SR is available in 250 and 300 trim levels. According to reports, the Chinese company

is working on developing a more powerful version called 250SR-R.

According to our knowledge, an "R" indicates a much sportier bike than its more conventional sibling.

What is the difference between the 250SR-R and the 250SR? Basically, it doesn't appear that the bike

will gain any power, but its chassis will be lighter and its suspension will be better.

According to Cycle World, the 250SR-R will feature a single-sided swingarm designed primarily to

reduce weight. Aside from the gold-anodized forks, the 250SR-R adopts a revised single-sided

swingarm.

Though the forks have not been confirmed to feature revised internals, the fact that KYB has long

supplied OEM suspension to CFMoto in its premium models isn't a far-fetched notion. Style-wise,

the 250SR-R is expected to retain its sporty and futuristic appearance. However, the additional R

bearing model might feature some minor styling enhancements such as winglets.

CFMoto is likely to begin production of the 250SR-R soon, and it is likely the company will also

produce the slightly larger 300SR. Depending on the power output and engine displacement of the

bike, the CFMoto 250SR is available in certain markets with license and insurance restrictions.

Meanwhile, the 300SR is a more common model available in Asia and Australia, as well as in South

America.
