Honda GB350

GB350 was only released in Japan earlier this year, isn't it amazing? The year is 2021, but it feels like we were introduced sometime in 2020. This air-cooled, retro-modern, single-cylinder charmer is known as CB350 in its home market in India, and it received a lot of good reviews since its introduction.

From July 15, 2021, GB350 fans in Japan will have a brand new motorcycle choice to choose from at their local Honda dealership. On that day, Honda will launch its GB350 S. It comes in two new colors not available on the regular GB350, and it has a slightly sportier character while maintaining its standard, retro-modern appeal.

Although the engine remains the same, the GB350 S will have slightly different ergonomics and ride quality. It will be up to the riders to choose their favorite flavor, but since some changes are ergonomic, it may be helpful to sit on both models before making a decision.

With regard to the rear tire, the biggest change has been made. A wide 150/70-17 unit with Metzeler Tourance Next is available on the GB350 S, up from the regular GB350's 130/70-18 unit. As a result, Honda says, you can ride with more spirited control. Its handlebars are slightly lower, and its foot controls are positioned to the rear. The seat height of the GB350 S is the same as the standard GB350, but the S has a tuck-and-roll saddle, which feels shorter than the standard one due to the textures.

In addition to slashing weight, Honda also used resin instead of metal for the short front and rear fender covers, as well as the side covers. It also features full LED lighting instead of the standard lighting found on the standard GB350. It has a slightly sportier look and feel, and comes with a few other small changes.

A Pearl Deep Gray and a Gunmetal Black Metallic variant are available for the GB350 S. It will retail for 594,000 yen, or about $5,386. GB350, the base model, costs about 4,987 yen, which is 550,000 yen. At this time, Honda has not announced plans to introduce the GB350 S in additional markets, but we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
